Member Appreciation Ride and Picnic
The Farmington Valley Trails Council is excited to once again be able to hold our Annual Member Appreciation Ride and Picnic. Join us on National Trails Day, Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Granbrook Park in East Granby. We will offer two rides, a 30-mile and a 12-mile ride. Upon riders return to Granbrook Park, a picnic lunch will be waiting.
- The 30-mile ride will head north on the trail to Westfield River and back. Some of this route is on the road. Start time is at 9:30 AM.
- A 12-mile ride, will head north on the trail to Suffield and back. A brief portion of this ride is on the road. Start time 10:15 AM.
The FVTC is proud to show off the finest trail system in New England and to let both veteran users and brand-new participants know how much we love it.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your start time to sign-in and get yourself ready. All rides utilize the trail system and allow participants to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery in the Farmington Valley. Light snacks (energy bars & water) will be provided at the start of the ride, and a picnic lunch will be provided upon riders return to the park.
This event is free to all of our members! It’s our way of saying thank you for your continued support. A $20.00 donation is requested per non-member rider.
