FVTC Weekly Meet-up Rides (July and August)
Join us for a casual ride along the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail or the Farmington River Trail. Rides will be about 15 miles but can vary depending on start location and number of participants. No registration or advance notice is required. Just show up!
Rides will take place each Wednesday from July 2nd through August 27th. Ride meets at 5:00 for a 5:30 start time.
Starting location will change each week to allow riders to enjoy different parts of the trail.
- July 2nd – Meet at the RT 4 Unionville, trail parking lot
- July 9th – Meet at Thompson Road, Avon, Trail parking lot
- July 16th- Meet at parking lot at Canton Town Hall, Collinsville
- July 23rd- Meet at Iron Horse Blvd, Simsbury at Jim Gallagher Way
- July 30th- Meet at Northwest Drive Trail parking lot, Plainville
- August 6th- Arch Road, Avon Trail parking lot
- August 13th- Meet at the RT 4 Unionville, trail parking lot
- August 20th- Meet at Thompson Road, Avon, Trail parking lot
- August 27th- Meet at parking lot at Canton Town Hall, Collinsville
Also, join us on Saturday, July 19th for a breakfast destination ride to Small State Provisions right off the trail in Avon, CT. The ride will start from the New Britain Avenue Trail Parking lot.
