Join the Farmington Valley Trails Council on Saturday, April 25th to celebrate Trails Day and America 250 with a ride to the Simsbury Historical Society, 800 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT. This ride makes its way to the Historical Society in Simsbury where riders can view the museum and see a Revolutionary War Encampment and Reenactment Event by Ye Olde Lebanon Towne Militia.

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF START LOCATION:

This ride will start at the New Britain Avenue/Coppermine Rd, Farmington trail parking lot and make its way along the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail to Simsbury. The ride will start at 9:00am. Arrive at least a half hour prior to the ride to sign in and complete an event waiver.

There will be no organized ride back. Riders may stay as long as they would like at the Historical Society, visit other places in town or continue on for a longer ride.

Riders are encouraged to wear bright, reflective clothing and have lights on their bikes.

Helmets are required for all FVTC ride events.
