FCRTTA National Trails Day GatheringDate: 6/6/2020
Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
In recognition of National Trails Day, stop by the Lock 14 Lock Keeper's House in Hamden for fellowship with other trail enthusiasts (following all safety guidelines).
We invite everyone who loves the trail to come out with us this Saturday, June 6th, National Trails Day. While all official events have been cancelled, we want to celebrate the trail with you while exercising appropriate safety precautions. As we have done for many years, we will be out to greet you at the Lock Keeper’s House in Hamden at Lock 14. We will be there from 10 am till 1 pm, and invite you to stop by and say hello. We will practice physical distancing, and wear a mask. We ask that you follow these protocols as well. You can take away new maps, and commercially sealed packets of trail mix and water. We will have sanitizer and paper towels available too. Feel free to take a self-guided “Walk the Locks” stroll from Lock 14 north 3 miles to Lock 12 in Cheshire. We hope you’ll come out, whether on wheels or on foot. We look forward to seeing you this Saturday!
